Betevé, Barcelona's municipal public television, is kicking off the 2026-2027 season with new formats and an approach to younger viewers. During the presentation, which took place this Wednesday, the general director of Betevé, Georgina Ferri, highlighted the effort to "marry supply and demand" this season, which will start on September 14th, and which provides continuity to the bets initiated last year and incorporates new content, formats, and protagonists. Ferri remarked that the three axes on which Betevé works are proximity, adaptability, and emotional connection, especially with the youngest ones.

Betevé begins a new era with Georgina Ferri as director and with more than a dozen new additions to its lineup. This Tuesday, Barcelona's municipal television station presented its programming for this year, which includes new cultural and news programs and will begin on September 15. Ferry, who was appointed director of Betevé in December 2024, explained that the creation of the new programming schedule was carried out with the complicity of the staff thanks to a bottom-up process.
