Apparently, and to the relief of us all, the boycott consists of not going. For now, he won't fire any missiles. In short, if Benjamin Netanyahu doesn't want to be accused of genocide, like those who starved his ancestors, what he should do is what so many voices of Jews around the world are urging him to do: not starve the people who spend their days, as best they can, in the Gaza Strip. Let him allow humanitarian aid through so that no child dies of hunger (yes, of hunger) next to his house, and everyone will applaud him. And, in the meantime, he should carefully consider what he's boycotting. Does that mean the Mobile is the most appropriate event? If he really wants to boycott, let him boycott Eurovision, man. It will be noticed here. I see the fact that they're not at a telephone conference that's being held in Barcelona as relevant as my Aunt Pura not being there.

More than 1,300 film and audiovisual professionals from around the world have signed a manifesto committing the signatories to not working with Israeli festivals, production companies, distributors, television networks, or other institutions that they consider "implicated in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people." The document, titled Film workers pledge to end complicity, was promoted by the organization Film Workers for Palestine and was made public this Monday.
