Three. A moving finale by Maria Arnal, with the audience stunned by the choreography of La Veronal's dancers. The heartfelt intimacy of Edna Bravo before a baroque altarpiece. A crowd watching Ouineta sing while perched on a horse on the big night of pop. queer in the Sucre. The writer Tuli Márquez plays the rhapsodist in an anarcho-syndicalist musical, shouting "the revolution will be ours or it won't be, it will be from Gaza or it won't be." Biznaga unleashing impeccable and ferocious punk rock in front of the cathedral. The romanticism of Marco Mezquida and Lina. The poetic depth of folk music by Asturian singer-songwriter Lorena Álvarez... And above all, a city devoted to music, giving meaning to music, making music important for thinking, laughing, dancing, and marveling. All this and much more is part of the 37th edition of the Vic Live Music Market, which concludes this Sunday with a Mishima concert.

He had just played Fe dins la tristesa, one of the songs of album Banderes per daltònics (2025) which begins to roll live. Although there was no trumpet that illuminates it on the album, the song sounded full, driven by the energy of the electric quartet format. "It's great that you receive a new song like this," he had said a little while before after Quant temps fa que no plores, satisfied with the applause of the audience who did not want to miss this presentation in the tent of the Mercat de Música Viva in Vic.

"Join," replies Júlia Soler (trombonist with Les Testarudes). They're at the Caja del Prat de Llobregat, rehearsing for the show. Durruti, I love you, which premiere on September 19 in Vic Live Music Market and which will also be performed on the 23rd at the La Mercè Festival in Barcelona. For now, it's in concert format, although the plan is for it to be presented as musical theater in the future. In any case, it's a show by the Les Solidàries company designed to reclaim anarcho-syndicalist memory through the figures of Buenaventura Durruti (1896-1936) and Mimi Morin (1901-1991). And as references, rock opera Tommy, by The Who; and the political songbook of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht. In fact, the show includes an adaptation of the wonderful Ballad of the Soldier's Wife of Weill and Brecht, contemporaries of Durruti and Morin.
