The traditional Altaveu Awards ceremony will inaugurate the 36th edition of the Altavoz Festival in Sant Boi de Llobregat. The gala will be held on the evening of September 10th at Can Massallera, and the concerts and various activities will extend from the 11th to the 14th at the Cal Ninyo Theater, the Town Hall Square, the Ateneu Gardens, the Rafael Casanova Rambla, and the Can Castellet cinemas. "The program emphasizes music with its own voice, because a voice of its own is a driving force of social transformation," says Víctor Partido, the festival's artistic programmer. Indeed, uniqueness, a voice of its own, is the characteristic feature of artists and groups performing at the Altaveu, such as Pau Vallvé, Remedio de Ca la Fresca, Roserona, and Derby Motoreta's Burrito Kachimba.
