The wait between the first and second season was two years and the series team is repeating the strategy. Fans have had to test their patience for two more years. Finally, on June 22, HBO will release the first of eight new episodes, which will be an hour long. HBO maintains the broadcast plan and the number of episodes per season —the first had 10—, and will release them weekly, every Monday, to offer the season's final episode on August 10. The platform has also announced that it will conclude the series with a fourth season which, following the series' timeline, is expected to premiere around 2028, and will conclude the Targaryen era.

Film, series, literature, music, and comics have used dragons, stretching the limits of what this mythological creature can represent: an imposing fantastic beast, a cute little animal, an exotic creature... In fiction, the dragon is a malleable character that can be adapted to family comedy, monster movies, or epic fantasy. We chose 10 that have gone down in history.

Warner is preparing a film set in the universe of Game of Thrones, which would be the first cinematic foray into the franchise. According to Page Six Hollywood and reported by Variety, Beau Willimon, the showrunner of House of Cards and Andor, has written a first version of the script that is already in the hands of Warner executives. The new series is simpler, smaller, and has a charming quality. It also has moments of humor, sometimes basic, sometimes scatological. However, there are no dragons. In short, it's a classic adventure story starring a knight and his squire, both with unorthodox origins considering their occupations. The series, which consists of six episodes lasting between 30 and 40 minutes, premieres this Monday on HBO Max.
