And then there are days like today, when the Plaça de la Vila de Vilafranca seems to want to widen so that everything that happens there can fit. Sant Fèlix has been a barbarity. A Sant Fèlix of the highest, of permanent extra gamma, of castles that for a long time had not been seen together and of a human tower tension brought to the limit. One of those days when the human tower world looks at the square and understands that it is witnessing something extraordinary. And a festival in which, for the first time in history, the 9-meter pillar with folre, manilles and puntals has been unloaded.

San Félix is ​​a performance in which you know how you're starting, but you don't know how you're going to finish. Thus, the groups must adjust their plans based on the results. Before the event, the big headline was that the four—Castellers de Vilafranca, Colla Vella de los Xiquets de Valls, Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls, and Jove de Tarragona—were heading into August 30th with the expectation of performing 3 out of 10 with their lining and handcuffs. The performance didn't go as planned, and of all of them, only the pink and lilac groups were able to top it. The performance in the Plaça de la Villa in Vilafranca del Penedès, however, gave us an exhibition of unlined castles from the Vallenque groups and the 9 out of 9 with lining from the green groups, which was on the verge of being unloaded.
