In the era of fake news, manipulated algorithms, and post-truth, a group of architects, journalists, engineers, and lawyers work together, putting technology at the service of facts. They call it forensic architecture and they dedicate themselves to reconstructing disputed events, from demonstrations to military attacks around the world. Since 2023, they have focused on Gaza, and their reports are used as evidence in South Africa's accusation against Israel at the International Court of Justice. We speak with Júlia Nueno, a researcher at Forensic Architecture, based in London, and editor of Genocides. The High Court of Justice of England and Wales ruled that the ban on the group Palestine Action as a "terrorist organization" is "illegal." The three judges on the panel reached their decision unanimously. And while they acknowledged that the organization had used "criminal methods," they determined that these had not crossed the "extremely high threshold" that defines terrorism, thus dismantling the Home Office's punitive strategy.

"They're shooting at us! We're in a car, and the tank is right next to us!" the girl was heard saying before a burst of gunfire silenced her voice. When Red Crescent operators called the cell phone, it was answered by a six-year-old girl, Hind Rajab, Layan's cousin, who had also been in the car. Terrified, she explained that all the other occupants of the car were dead: her aunt and uncle and her three cousins. Between sobs, she pleaded for rescue: "I'm so scared, please come. Get me out of here." On February 10, after the Israeli army withdrew, Hind's family was able to enter the city and find the car containing the bodies of the girl, her aunt, uncle, and cousins. A subsequent investigation revealed the vehicle had sustained 355 bullet impacts.

The head of government, Xavier Espot, explained to X that recognition would not have "full diplomatic effect" until Hamas released the hostages and handed over its weapons. It would also not have to take effect until a Palestinian government was created outside the Islamist group. In her address to the UN, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Imma Tor, stressed that, in this way, Andorra remained "faithful" to "more than seven centuries of peace" and to the country's "active neutrality" in the face of international conflicts. What does this mean? What is the country's position on Palestine? We try to unravel it.

Thus, for example, in Alice in Wonderland, the Eagle responds in this way to something he has heard: "Speak less convolutedly! I don't understand the meaning of half of the long words you have used, and I'll tell you more: it seems to me that you don't either!" (This is a very common phenomenon, now that all languages, not just Catalan, proceed in the forward direction.) Further on in the same book, Turtle says: "Look, if a fish came to me and told me he was going on a journey, I would say to him: "With what page?"" And Griffo says: "Don't you mean "luggage"? And Turtle answers: "I mean what I say." It reads something similar to Alice Through the Looking GlassHumpty Dumpty says: "When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean." And Alice replies: "The question is, can words be made to mean different things?"

We don't deserve it; we just voted for them. Why do they punish us by insulting our intelligence, calling us idiots or amnesiacs, or both? Few of the figures currently occupying the representative bodies are there out of a democratic vocation. It's a bad thing to say, but most, judging by their demeanor, are interested only in power for power's sake. If they have principles, they hide them very well. If they act according to values that go beyond those imposed by law, they don't show it in their actions. And now that populism based on widely disseminated lies is becoming normalized, the atmosphere has become even more nauseating. I hate them all because I deeply believe in democracy, freedom, the common good, and justice, and they are busy shuffling these civic niceties like someone shuffling mountain shit.
