"I was the happiest person in the world. I felt very free and connected to nature." Actress Cristina Brondo's best summers were spent at the Villalonga de Ter campsite from the ages of 4 to 11, and she also spent her winters there. At first, they went camping in a tent, and when they saw they liked camping, they bought a caravan. But she only made it to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The rest of the day, she hung out with the group she had met there, enjoying the freedom she loved. "My parents were relaxed, and I felt like I could go everywhere on my own. We ate when we were hungry. We played when we wanted to play," she shares. A feeling that disappeared when they moved their summer resort to the Costa Brava: "They didn't give me as much freedom, and even though the sea was nearby, it wasn't the same. It was hard for me to find my space."
