The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested four men for their alleged involvement in the death of a young man who was stabbed to death on September 30th in Barcelona. The 25-year-old was fatally stabbed on the landing of the third floor of a building in the Bon Pastor neighborhood, in BarcelonaAccording to information obtained by ARA, the Catalan police are investigating whether the murder is linked to a jewelry sale. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have reported that the four detainees are between 19 and 30 years old and were arrested in two phases as the investigation progressed. Two of the men were arrested in October, and the other two were arrested this week, on Wednesday, November 12th, and Thursday, November 13th. Two of those arrested have been remanded in custody without bail, while the other two have been released with precautionary measures. The victim was found on the building's landing after suffering multiple stab wounds and blows. As ARA has learned, the victim was not a resident of the building and arrived on a motorcycle just minutes before the fatal attack. It appears he was accompanied. The police investigation also suggests that the young man had gone to the blog to purchase jewelry. He was carrying a significant amount of cash, and the transaction ended in the worst possible way: the sellers kept his money and are also being investigated as the suspected perpetrators of his death.
