Alanis Morissette, responsible for hits like Ironic, has filed a lawsuit against her former tour manager, Keren Urinov, for extortion and blackmail. The singer claims that Urinov threatened to report her for drug trafficking. According to the artist, to stop the report, her former tour manager demanded a 15-year employment contract, with annual salary increases and bonuses. "Plaintiff Alanis Morissette is the victim of a calculated blackmail campaign orchestrated by a disgruntled former tour manager. Morissette will not agree to work with an incompetent blackmailer for the next 15 years nor pay her a ransom under duress," the singer's legal team says in the lawsuit.
