"I don't want it to end," Lola Indigo said through tears just before singing. Mojaíta, the penultimate song of her generous and, in many ways, spectacular concert on Thursday at the Estadi Olímpic. The singer from Granada cannot be denied the desire to offer a concert that represents a considerable leap in scale from what one would expect from a Spanish pop artist: two and a half hours of performance, flame cannons, fireworks, inflatable balls, a giant screen, stage changes, and basketball players of the caliber of fifty. And at the front was a dedicated, exhilarated, and very emotional Lola Indigo, who ended up asking "forgiveness for crying so many times" during the concert. No apologies were necessary because it was her big party, an epic and excessive celebration that, for one night, made her the queen of Spanish pop.
