Mariona Ortiz, one of the great stars of the Liga Femenina Endesa, will leave Casademont Zaragoza at the end of the year to join Project B, a new competition that has altered the global ecosystem of women's basketball. The Catalan player reveals to ARA the reasons for this ambitious change of direction. "I think it is a new project that brings the best players in the world to different cities. Furthermore, it mixes sports, culture, and fashion to access cities that we would not be able to reach in any other way," says the point guard.

The Spanish national team is currently competing in the Eurobasket. One of the team's leaders is Mariona Ortiz, a Catalan who has received recognition later than other athletes. She made her Eurobasketball debut at 33 years old. "I didn't expect to be here. My maturity has gone hand in hand with my performance. Now I'm at a personal moment where I'm very calm," she explains.
