At least 18 people were injured in two explosions this Tuesday in Damascus, the capital of Syria, during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron. Among the injured, there would be four police officers, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency. The visit of the French president is the first by a European head of state since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad in December 2024.
