The decision comes after El Periódico published the complaint by three former students of the Liceu Conservatory – where Thiemann was a professor until last year – accusing him of harassment. In a joint statement, the two institutions affirm that the suspension is the "most appropriate" measure to preserve the trajectory and values of the Academy. Thiemann has also temporarily stepped down from his position as councilor in Castellar de la Ribera while the facts are clarified. So far, no complaint has been filed with the police or the judiciary.

Ernest Prana, musician, singer-songwriter, and social media content creator, and Mercedes Conde, deputy artistic director of the Palau de la Música Catalana, discuss their first experience at the Palau. Although the Palau hosts concerts of various musical genres, classical concerts are those that, by definition, have certain protocols, sometimes unfamiliar to those who have not yet experienced them for the first time. Dispelling taboos and highlighting the excellences of an unforgettable experience are some of the tips these two experts give the audience. The opening of the overture plays in the background. Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, one of Richard Wagner's most popular operas.

From March 26 to April 4, the capital of the Segarra region will host the 16th edition of the Easter Festival, a unique event within the country's musical landscape because it is the only one dedicated entirely to this repertoire. The program will include 14 concerts held in various venues throughout the city, featuring a combination of symphonic, choral, chamber, and contemporary music. Among the invited ensembles and performers are the Julià Carbonell Symphony Orchestra of Lleida, the Chamber Choir of the Palau de la Música Catalana, Polifemo Consorte, the Cobla Sant Jordi, and the Prysma Quartet, as well as soloists such as Marta Mathéu, Miquel Villalba, and Joel Bardolet.
