The Catalan video game industry is characterized by constant growth and specialized educational centers such as the Center for Image and Multimedia Technology of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (CITM-UPC) are a reference.

To respond to the concerns of a generation of young people who not only want to understand the world but also get involved and contribute to improving it, the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) offers, from this academic year 2024-2025, the degree in Global Studies, designed for students with a clear interest in global social, political, and environmental issues.
