When the newspaper ARA was founded 15 years ago, most of the staff didn't have children; it was a predominantly young team just starting out in life. We've witnessed weddings, separations, moves, and little by little, births too. The first daughter From the newsroom, Laia, daughter of a colleague who then worked in the international section, is now fourteen years old - she was born in February 2011, three months after the first front page of ARA, the one with the centenary Moisès Broggi and Graciela Noguera- but then more than sixty more children came.

Perhaps it only happened to me? Or perhaps to many other pregnant women that year? On your birthday, I have the right to tell this story again. When we went into restaurants or Chinese bazaars, when people saw my belly, they would say something like, "It's the Year of the Golden Pig! You and the baby are blessed!"

On September 30, 2005, a major national pact was sealed, making the new Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia possible. The context at that time could be summarized as follows: there was economic prosperity, the first tripartite coalition governed in Catalonia with Pasqual Maragall as president, CiU was the leading force in Parliament with 46 deputies after winning the elections against all odds, and in Spain, Rodríguez Zapatero's PSOE governed after the war in Iraq and the Iraq wars. And an additional, no less important fact: Zapatero had solemnly promised that he would endorse the Statute of Autonomy that emerged from the Catalan Parliament.

At number 15 Allada Vermell Street, in the heart of the Born district, there is a narrow door that invites you to pause. If you go through it, you discover the smallest theater in Barcelona: La Puntual. With a capacity of between 46 and 60 people, it is one of the most unique venues in the city. Puppets, marionettes, and shadow puppets have been the stars of the four walls that have housed the theater for two decades, which has become a meeting point for children, families, schools, and artists from around the world.
