Three years ago, Mónica Oltra resigned from her position as vice president of the Valencian government because she was charged in case investigating possible cover-up of abuse of a minor under guardianshipBut, above all, because she felt she didn't have the support of the PSPV (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party), Podemos, or the nationalists of Més, the main party in Compromís (she is a member of Iniciativa). Now, however, they assert their majority, and the best example of how the mess is growing has been the split within the coalition in Congress. The Más party, the pro-sovereignty wing within Compromís, has decided to stick to its guns and leave the Sumar parliamentary group in the Congress of Deputies and join the mixed group. This was confirmed by the results of the consultation held this Monday within the party's national council, which validated the strategy of the Valencian executive, which has been urging its members to take this step for weeks. The result of the vote was 190 votes in favor (92.68%), 8 abstentions (3.9%), and 7 votes against (3.41%). Turnout rose to 88.74%.

The appointment of former President of the Valencian Parliament, Enric Morera, as a regional senator for Compromís has sparked a crisis within the Valencian coalition that threatens to damage, perhaps permanently, the always unstable relationship between the three parties that comprise it.
