The facilities are located in the municipalities of Les Oluges (La Segarra), Sant Pere Sallavinera (Anoia), Casserres (Berguedà), and Vilanova d'Escornalbou (Baix Camp), according to the company.</p>]]></description>

And all that was missing was the recent major blackout. Catalonia consumes more electricity than it generates. In 2024, electricity consumption in the Principality was 44.1 TWh, while production stood at 37.4 TWh, representing a deficit of 15.19%.</p>]]></description>

The decree-law seeks, on the one hand, to regulate and incentivize batteries and, on the other, to accelerate the energy transition and streamline the processing of solar, wind, and storage farm projects under the jurisdiction of the Generalitat (Catalan Government).</p>]]></description>
