"I'm not right to say this, but I think I did really well," said Lucas, who is taking the University Entrance Exam (PAU) exam at Pompeu Fabra University.

The proofreaders (called "proofreaders" by the corresponding department) will deduct 0.1 points for spelling mistakes on the exams. Catalan, Spanish, and literature. With a limit, eh? 2 points. In foreign languages, up to 10% of the exercise will be deducted from written expression if the student is poor. In the remaining subjects, it seems that students will finally be penalized for spelling. We return, then, to what was said in October: that "coherence, grammatical and spelling accuracy, and the presentation of texts will be assessed, the discount of which can reach 10% of the total grade."

Minister Núria Montserrat has had to rectify In an appearance on 3/24, she and her team publicly revealed the information she and her team gave on Wednesday in a working session with journalists about the new features of the University Entrance Exams (PAU), which highlighted that spelling errors would only be included in language and literature subjects and, therefore, would not be penalized in any of the 25 subjects, both compulsory and optional.

Students are warned that when solving exercises, they must "model and solve everyday problems by linking and contextualizing mathematics to other areas of knowledge." They must "argue the suitability of the problem solutions to verify their validity." As an example, there's this case: "Juan finds among his grandfather's papers a sketch like the one in the attached figure, which describes an irrigated plot of land that he left as an inheritance to his father." And in the attached figure, we see the grandfather's plot of land. It's a kind of trapezoid but with one curved side. Like half an irregular ball, squared on one side. Students must calculate the coordinates of points P, Q, and R and the equation of line PR.
