Vermuts Miró is the subject of the first volume in the Business History Library, a project launched by MaserGrup. The book, written by historian Isabel Martínez (Cambrils, 1973), traces the evolution of Vermuts Miró from its founding in 1914 to its acquisition by MaserGrup in 2020, placing the brand's trajectory within the broader history of wine production. The book will be presented on April 7th at Casa Navàs.

Vermuts Miró announced this week the acquisition of Vermouth Perucchi, the oldest brand in the sector and one of the most prestigious for its artisanal and premium profile. It is the most premium brand in the Spanish vermouth market by volume, according to the international wine and spirits consultancy IWSR. It is based on high-quality white wine, primarily Macabeo, and sugar.

Bodegas Yzaguirre opens its doors to anyone interested in visiting its new facilities. The building, designed by Carbonell Figueras, is located in Morell (Tarragonès) and is a large, Gaudi-inspired structure with wooden materials, seeking the best possible balance between tradition and modernity. The building is tall and generous, but visitors' gaze (and nose) are drawn to the ground floor, to the 4,000 square meters of the ground floor, where dozens of barrels (some 100 years old) mature the vermouth that will soon be sold.
