This year, the La Mercè Fireworks Festival will feature the signature of brothers David and José Muñoz. The duo led by Tow have been chosen to make the musical selection for the event, which will take place on Sunday, September 28th, at ten o'clock at night on Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina. Since 2023, the event has featured the selection of a renowned artist with a special relationship with the city of Barcelona. Two years ago, Sónar was used to commemorate its 30th anniversary with a journey through the voices and rhythms of the five continents through experimental sounds and great classics of electronic music. Last year it was Rosalía, who took the opportunity to premiere his new song worldwide Omega, in which he collaborates with Ralphie Choo.

Launched in 2022 in Terrassa by Lildami, and now organized by the promoter The Project in Barcelona, ​​​​this edition's main attraction was Estopa, a group that doesn't usually perform at festivals and who offered two hours of anthological repertoire in front of 15,000 people, according to data provided by the organizers.
