In front of The threat to science posed by Donald Trump's arrival at the White House –with cuts to funding for scientific projects and censorship of certain lines of research–, Europe is taking a step forward to attract American scientists affected by the policies of the US president. The European Commission announced this Monday a new investment of 500 million euros for the period 2025-27 to make Europe "a pole of attraction" for researchers from around the world.
