Paula Leitón (Terrassa, 2000) is a water polo player for CN Sabadell. With the national team, she won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games.

She went to the public school in the Pere Viver neighborhood of Terrassa, across the street from her house. And even as a child, her favorite subject was physical education. "I had a really cool teacher, who's still there, and I think it was here that I got hooked on sports," she explains. In fact, she started swimming at the age of two and hasn't gotten any better since. "I've always been very overweight, and the doctor recommended my mother introduce me to a sport. First, I did swimming, and when I was seven, I switched to water polo."

The actress Montserrat Salvador, well known for having been the matriarch of the Montsolís family of Nizaga of power, died this Thursday at the age of 97. He had a long career in television – he appeared in other series such as Poblenou, The heart of the city, Central Hospital and Tell me how it happened–, but also in film and theater. Daughter of Republican exiles (her father was director of the Tarragona Diary during the Second Republic), began her acting career in France, where she grew up, and continued it in Argentina –where she participated in productions by Margarida Xirgu– and in Colombia. Her debut in Barcelona did not occur until 1956, when she was almost thirty years old.

Biel Duran (Gelida, 1984) is an actor. He made his debut at age 9 in Bigas Luna's 'La teta y la luna'. At 11, we first met him as Toni in TV3's 'Nissaga de poder'. We can now see him in 'Kramig', which runs until June 29 at Espai Texas.

Biel Duran attended the town's public school. "I have very fond memories, especially of the teachers' work. I really liked seeing those people explaining things to me. I also saw myself as a teacher," he says, although when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he replied, "A doctor." "Because they did Open heart on TV, they seemed like heroes to me. Then I realized that if I got hurt, I would get dizzy. And science wasn't my strong suit either," says the performer.
