In the latter case, the RUK snatched the Runcorn and Helsby seat (in northwest England) from Labour by just six votes, overturning the government's 2024 majority of more than 14,000. The result was announced early Friday morning after a second count, which widened the gap between the two parties from four to six.</p>]]></description>
