Llet Nostra is organizing Nuestro Festival for the fourth consecutive year, an event designed for the whole family that combines culture, entertainment, and solidarity. It will take place next Saturday, November 8th, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Ateneo Municipal Theater in Igualada, where attendees can enjoy a day full of creative and musical activities.

Following the success of the first edition, we're back again this year. Next weekend, October 4th and 5th, we have a date at the Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm (at 515 Rosselló Street, Barcelona). The newspaper ARA, in conjunction with Fira Àpat, has once again organized the FESTÍ FEST gastronomic festival. The first edition brought together more than 5,000 attendees, and with this year's planned program, the aim is to entice the public once again.

In the Catalan music and cultural scene, it often seems that visibility accumulates in "vintages"—generations of artists who dominate festivals and the media. According to Marçal Girbau and Estel Solé, co-directors of Perifèria Cultural, each season sees a small group of names appear who are repeated "at all the small and big festivals," creating a dynamic that prioritizes commercialism over artistic quality.

All the teenagers around me have seen the documentary about the Supernova music festival, which was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, in a coordinated attack in the Gaza Strip. The documentary is the account of the survivors (young and beautiful, like them, eager to party), illustrated with cell phone images of victims and executioners. A executioner laughing as he shoots a pleading boy. A girl hiding in a dumpster asking her mother for forgiveness for making her suffer like that. They all seem "secular."
