Despite its long history and the extensive coverage it has received—from Roberto Saviano's books to dozens of films—the Camorra remains one of the most active mafias in international drug trafficking. This is confirmed, for example, by the latest anti-drug report from the Italian Ministry of the Interior, which states that it imports hashish and cocaine from Spain, South America, Africa, and the Arabian Peninsula. Now, it has been shown that the Camorra's relationship with Catalonia is also close.

His name was Juan de Pinoso, the son of a minor branch of the Gironella nobility and had come to the city to serve Philip III. His household inventory, preserved in the State Archive of Naples, contains nearly seventy volumes, with copies of religious books and Latin grammar, Italian poetry, devotional works, and Castilian novels such asThe Celestinaand theLazarillo de Tormes.

The accident occurred when the cable car broke, causing two cabins to dangle in the air. Sixteen people were on board, mostly tourists, but also cable car workers. Before rescue teams could access the cable car, one of the two cabins, the one dangling closest to the summit, collapsed completely and fell to its void. Three people were initially confirmed dead, but rescue teams later found the body of one of the missing passengers. The four fatalities are three tourists and the driver.
