The wait has ended and the day of the solar eclipse, special for its total condition, has arrived. This will only be visible in a very narrow strip of the planet, where the demarcations of Castelló and València fall. In Alacant, the phenomenon will only be visible partially.

The situation with the fires continues without pause. A forest fire in Tírig, Castelló, with about 700 hectares affected, is mobilizing dozens of personnel after a day with simultaneous fires in the area, most of them caused by lightning. Another fire in Niebla, Huelva, which already affects 8,000 hectares and has left a balance of about 400 people evacuated, is also of particular concern. The fire causes a column of smoke visible from various points in the provinces of Huelva and Seville.

Compromís at the Diputació de Castelló has denounced that the provincial government of the Popular Party continues without promoting any of its own housing policies, despite access to housing having become the main concern of citizens and one of the major obstacles to combating depopulation in the province's municipalities.
