Its goal is to recapture the Élysée Palace in 2027, taking advantage of the fact that the current president, Emmanuel Macron, will have already served the two consecutive terms allowed by French law and that, for now, Macronism has no clear heir.</p>]]></description>

One of the new features of the law is that foreigners will have to take a French exam to prove their mastery of the language in order to legally reside in France. Associations that work with immigrants complain that the level required is too high and will make those who fail the exam subject to deportation, even if they had previously been in a legal situation.</p>]]></description>
