In a statement, the organization explained that all Jewish areas in the city's cemeteries—Les Corts, Collserola, and Sant Andreu—will remain closed until Monday, January 26, following the recommendation of Barcelona Cemeteries, to prevent further desecration, gather information, and "accurately assess the situation and take appropriate action." The incidents reportedly took place on Saturday afternoon, and the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) opened an investigation on Sunday to identify the perpetrators and their motive, according to sources within the Catalan police force who spoke to EFE. However, no formal complaint has been filed. Images published by the CJB show a number of vandalized graves. The disorder is widespread: marble gravestones are broken, displaced, or lying on top of other graves or on the ground. In some cases, they are cracked, and in others, fractured into several pieces, making it clear that there has been a deliberate act of destruction.

Why did it decide to do this? Well, according to the Washington Post, because he was watching on TV Republican senators and economists who, despite being on his side, were worried about the consequences, made a few calls and unexpectedly decided on the moratorium. Trump negotiates from chaos, governs from chaos. The result? Today the stock market soared. However, the trade war with China continues, which is the Chinese way of arguing about who rules the world, of putting America first; well, putting himself first. But be careful, because the 10% tariff that is still in place is very difficult for companies that export to the United States to bear.
