The Caixa Enginyers group's shareholders' meeting on Tuesday endorsed the record results achieved last year. The credit, financial services, and insurance cooperative achieved a turnover of €8.581 billion and a net profit of €24 million, a 22.3% increase over the previous year. The meeting approved a 5% share capital contribution and a proposed increase in the Education and Promotion Fund to €1.7 million, a 28% increase over 2023. Today, the entity opened its own office in Vilanova i la Geltrú, bringing its 3rd office to the Garraf capital at the headquarters of the Mútua General de Catalunya.

Juanjo Llopis (Valencia, 1973) has completed his first hundred days as CEO of Caixa Ingenieros. A defender of the cooperative banking model he leads, he argues that the bank has the capacity to grow without having to make purchases, member by member, with a network of physical branches combined with a strong digital commitment.
