Therefore, despite the seriousness of the information contained in our newspaper today, such as the Israeli invasion of Gaza, the destruction of the best liberal values in the United States, or the housing emergency in our country, we want to commit to creativity one more year. You have in your hands a new Comic Diary, an edition in which all the news in the paper is illustrated by cartoonists.

Coinciding with the start of Comic Barcelona, the sector's major fair, the Diari del Còmic returns, a special edition in which all the news will be illustrated by cartoonists. The initiative, which ARA has already promoted in previous years, reinvents current events with the help of a roster of cartoonists who will contribute their perspective on the news; it will, of course, be a collector's edition, an ARA by author (of authors) to keep and frame.

Her drawings unfold a hypnotic vectorial web of straight lines that reveal the essence of the reality she portrays. In her latest work, Bad smell, which Finestres publishes in Catalan and Apa Apa In Spanish, Hafid analyzes the labor policies of a fictional company, Angle Group, where only women work. A sterile, uniform, supposedly egalitarian environment, in which a strange odor reveals all the racism and hypocrisy of the corporate culture and, by extension, the rest of society.
