The signatories are Ferran Mascarell, Juan Manuel Tresserras, Santi Vila, Luis Puig, Laura Borràs, and Àngels Ponsa. They all support a proposal by Pere Camps, the founder of the Barnasants festival, who has long urged institutions to work towards establishing "a leading institution dedicated to preserving, studying, developing, and promoting singer-songwriter music."

At the beginning of that same year, the group released Tomorrowan album steeped in hope. A few months later came "the defeat." "For Brams, the discursive content is fundamental. In fact, it's the defining characteristic of the group's existence," recalls Ribera, who understands that "every defeat gives rise to disappointment, to disillusionment." "We wanted to express our own feelings, but we know that nothing can be built from rage and anger, from the depths of despair. That's why we waited so long to figure out what we should say and how we should explain it," he says. The result of this time spent digesting the disenchantment is five songs brought together under the title Come back, come back, come back! (2026), which aim to offer a positive reflection and include a direct critique of the far right.

The performance brings together two expressive forces with distinct yet complementary trajectories. Together, they will perform, for the first time, material from the album... Amure luci (Narciso Records, 2025) by the Sicilian artist, who intensely explores her cultural and linguistic roots, uniting tradition and modernity. "I wanted to go back to the roots. Linguistically, from ancient Greek and Latin to Sicilian. And literarily, the album also traces the entire history of the island, including the Arab period," explains Consoli, who, in addition to her own verses, sings of Latin poets like Ovid, Sicilian poets like Nina de Nina from the 20th century, and draws inspiration from others such as the 12th-century Arab-Sicilian poet Ibn Hamdis, as she mentioned this Friday at a press conference in Barcelona. Consoli, born in Catania in 1974, is combative by nature and politically opposed to the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, with whom she has had more than one verbal clash. She defends Sicilian as a "language of protest." "When I sing in Italian, I'm more poetic," she asserts. Regarding Sicilian, she explains that it is "a minority language with a rich literature and wonderful poetry." "It's talked about, it's very much alive, and it's taught at the university, although not in schools," he reports.

On her 28th birthday, the Mallorcan singer performed at the Olympia. "It's a somewhat cumbersome theater, not as welcoming as the Palau de la Música, but you still feel the weight of history, of all the musicians who have passed through," she explains at a luncheon with the press at the Moka restaurant on Barcelona's Rambla. On the table is a vinyl copy of the brand-new, in both form and substance, reissue of the album. At the Olympia recorded on April 27th fifty years ago. There is also a copy of the vinyl that Ariola released in 1975.
