He came from governing Galicia with everything under control, and his conciliatory approach seemed ideal for reclaiming the center ground that Pablo Casado had squandered in his failed bid for the leadership of the People's Party (PP). Feijóo was then the symbol of a right wing that wanted to become serious again, capable of inspiring confidence among the middle class and presenting itself as an alternative to Pedro Sánchez.

Specifically, at the event organized by New Generations, the PP's youth wing, immediately following the final rally with Jorge Azcón—the current president of Aragon and PP candidate—and Alberto Núñez Feijóo, the far-right agitator Vito Quiles, who also ran in the European elections with the far-right party, moderated the discussion. The event, entitled "De K-ñas," consisted of an interview with Jorge Azcón by Quiles and an "informal" conversation with young party members. At the close of the election campaign, Azcón called for continued strength to advance along the same path as this legislative term. Polls favor him in maintaining first place, but also point to an increasing dependence on Vox.

It's been widely reported that an association has invited a far-right politician or a politician aligned with them to the Autonomous University of Barcelona, whether Rosa Díez, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, or the latest in this series, Vito Quiles. On the appointed day, far-left student associations have already organized to disrupt the event and prevent the alleged protest from taking place. conference. The Mossos d'Esquadra must intervene to prevent more violent clashes. (Some of the police, by the way, beat the students with barely concealed rage.) Afterwards, everyone goes home and that's it, a year ago today.

This is how agitator Vito Quiles attempted to hold an event this Thursday at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), for which the school had warned him he was not authorized. The pro-Spanish group Se ha Acabado (It's Over), close to Vox, had announced an event at 12 noon in the Plaza Cívica—the epicenter of the campus—but for quite some time before, hundreds of anti-fascist protesters had filled the surrounding area to try to prevent the agitator from appearing. Likewise, a few dozen young people in favor of Quiles, with Spanish and Carlist flags, were positioned next to the Communications Library, a few meters from the large UAB plaza. However, Quiles did not appear where he had announced, but in the parking lot next to the rectorate, far from the plaza that is the epicenter of university activity.
