The electric vehicle charger manufacturer Wallbox has decided to stop production at its Arlington plant in the United States and centralize manufacturing in Barcelona, as reported by the specialized media outlet Ecotechers and confirmed by company sources to the ACN. The decision will involve an increase in work and staff at the Barcelona plant, which will be determined based on volume and production needs. Wallbox will keep the Texas facilities operational as a "hub of service and logistics" in North America.

The Catalan electric car charging system company Wallbox has signed an alliance with vehicle manufacturer Slate Auto, in which US magnate Jeff Bezos holds a stake. For now, it will supply chargers made in Barcelona for Slate Auto's facilities in Indiana, although the two companies "are exploring new collaboration opportunities," Wallbox reported in a statement this Thursday.

Wallbox, the Catalan company for electric car charging systems, has closed the debt restructuring agreement for an amount of 169.5 million euros with the main creditors, representing more than 83% of the company's financial debt, as well as the main shareholders and institutional investors, through a capital increase. "This structure has been designed to strengthen liquidity and consolidate a more solid and sustainable capital base for the coming years," Wallbox explained. Its CEO, Enric Asunción, has said that this is a "key" agreement to strengthen its financial position.
