From February 2 to 14, the seven astronauts lived with limitations on water, food, mobility, and communications with Earth while testing procedures and tools to investigate areas such as geology and biology, focusing on the female body, which is often forgotten in the aerospace field.

Despite the challenges, they can enjoy spectacular views of Earth, a floating sphere in space. According to sources from the International Space Station (ISS), this is what an astronaut's workday looks like.

The two landed on the coast of Florida at 10:11 p.m. Tuesday, Spanish time, after months in space. The two astronauts "are not trapped" nor are they returning to Earth "on any rescue mission.", NASA has insisted on saying several times. But the fact is that Williams and Wilmore have spent nine months on the International Space Station (ISS), when their visit was scheduled to last only eight days. They went to test Boeing's new ship, but anomalies were detected in the device and it was decided that it should return empty to Earth, while they awaited a new passage back home. It took nine months.

And yet, the queue keeps growing. Well before the event's scheduled start time, it already stretches beyond the corner of the Casa Seat building, at the intersection of Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia, and continues up the street. Waiting patiently and impatiently are many children, young adults, parents, grandparents, curious people, and above all, science enthusiasts. Some—the little ones—are even dressed up for the occasion. This afternoon they will meet their heroine, the molecular biologist and astronaut Sara García Alonso (León, 1989), who is coming to the presentation of her first book, Orbits (Ediciones B, 2025), with her Mars-red hair.

He was born in a wooden house in Siberia, and as a child he would look up in fascination as a Tupolev plane flew gracefully overhead. It still seemed like a miracle to see a man fly. Little did Aleksei expect that he would be the first man to perform a spacewalk.
