La Fabra i Coats is the epicentre of the first edition of the Book Music Festival of Barcelona, ​​which takes place this Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 7pm. It is an initiative dedicated to musical literature in a broad sense, as defended by the director, Jaume Massaguer, promoter of the project together with Cristina de Fortuny. That is to say, there will be biographical books and musical essays, but also fiction literature, because there are novels such as Trainspotting, by Irvin Welsh, or Story of a piano, by Ramon Gener, in which music plays a prominent role. "The aim is to highlight the work of writers, journalists, translators, photographers, editors and music booksellers," says Messeguer. "Music books open windows to the world of music as art, culture and personal experience," says Ramon Moreno, curator of the Book Music Festival.
