Virginia Cierco has been managing the San Pablo - Santa Cruz Library in the heart of Barcelona's Raval district for three years. She began her internship at a high school on Meridiana Avenue, where the library was a rather dreary room. Now she dreams of expanding the facility, located next to the Library of Catalonia, and approaches each day with passion.

Founded in 1800, the Library of Congress houses more than 178 million documents, including photographs. These unique collections depict the country's living conditions and traditions.

We read in the ARA that Barcelona City Council has received a notification warning them that none of the funds from the American government can be used for "programs that promote diversity, equity, or inclusion." The "funds" were sent to the Ignasi Iglésias - Can Fabra Library, with a project to "promote cultural exchange and dialogue between Barcelona and the United States."
