The National Police are investigating whether Remedios Sánchez, who is serving a prison sentence in a Galician penitentiary for the murder of three elderly women in Catalonia twenty years ago, is the perpetrator of the violent death of another elderly woman, a homicide committed a few days ago in A Coruña. Investigators are trying to determine whether Remedios Sánchez committed a new crime while on prison leave.

Fatal accident in the León fires.
