Barça, in particular, is more than just a club; it's a bridge between Catalan nations. The book Principality of BlaugranaThe book by Andorran journalist Àlex Terés presents, through anecdotes, an investigation that confirms myths surrounding the Barcelona club and the Principality, from the players' stays there to the largest fan clubs abroad. The National Archives of Andorra confirm that the first documented presence of Barça players in the Pyrenean country dates back to 1949, when four footballers—Joan and Mariano Gonzalvo Falcón, Josep Seguer, and Josep Canal—reinforced FC Andorra in a friendly match during the Escaldes-Engordany festival. An unthinkable image today, where Barça players proudly wore the tricolor kit.

And not just political ones. One of the groups that has openly expressed its opposition has been Renfe's train drivers. They fear that the change of ownership will affect their working conditions and have tried (and succeeded) to force changes in the structure of the new joint venture. The lack of Catalan train drivers (currently 80% are from outside the country), the turnover, and the constant mobility of these workers have further strained the operation of an already delicate system. But the situation could change.

Educational psychology is the branch of study that focuses on the teaching and learning processes. Engel teaches future early childhood and primary school teachers and teaches classes in the master's degree in educational psychology to individuals who, in the future, will be dedicated to advising teachers. This week, she was one of the speakers on the "Let's Learn Together 2030" tour, a program promoted by BBVA whose objective is to promote lifelong learning and disseminate knowledge in an innovative way, which was held at the Teatre Lliure in Barcelona. In the academic field, the program has implemented its educational methodologies, which Engel also uses, in more than 5,500 schools across Spain.

While the need is widely agreed on, there is no unanimity, however, on how to achieve it. Many successful experiences have been carried out, but even so, overall results continue to be modest to worrying. In any case, beyond methods, one of the factors that has always been sought is to try to achieve a highly qualified corps of teachers, as happens in some of the most successful countries in education, such as Finland.
