"I can't cry, I can't express my feelings." This is the testimony of one of the fifteen men, most of them over 70 years old, speaking directly to the camera about the sexual abuse they suffered in the Church as children. Abuse that turned those children into cold, seemingly emotionless people. A woman also recounts the assaults suffered by a nun at a religious center in Navarre. Everyone knew it is Iratxe Pérez's documentary about sexual violence within the Catholic Church. The director's town, Estella-Lizarra, is home to just over 14,000 people, and according to the documentary's author, there is an "estimate of more than a thousand victims" of sexual abuse.

Months to receive a social benefit, years of waiting for a place in a public nursing home, or discontent over poor service. The slowness in responding to citizens is due to the fact that the Catalan administration is "slow, complicated, excessively bureaucratic, and obsolete in some cases." These are the words of the ombudsman, Esther Giménez-Salinas, who presented the institution's annual report to the Speaker of the Parliament, Josep Rull, in which she warns that complaints are growing at a very rapid rate. Largely responsible for this trend is the daily chaos of the Cercanías (Commuter Trains): if last year there were 160 complaints about the poor functioning of the trains, in the two and a half months of 2025 there have already been 397, more than double.

Catalan ombudsman Rafael Ribó has been very forceful in his assessment of claims of sexual harassment and abuse of power at the Institut del Teatre uncovered by ARA in February: "It is clear that there have been situations of abuse of power, sexual harassment and even sexual abuse". In fact, Ribó explained that the Institut del Teatre has to "promote a thorough investigation" because the facts are "more extensive than what has been presented so far" and recommended that the Institut investigate the cases of former students who filed complaints and that the current protocol does not allow it to investigate. "It should be given a broader scope, include former students and responsibilities attributable to professionals," concluded Ribó, who believes that there has been "failures" by the center in its duty to "protect" students.
