Damm's history is that of a journey. The journey that, fleeing the Franco-Prussian War, was undertaken in 1871 by August Kuentzmann Damm, who moved to Barcelona with his wife Melanie. With him, he brought the brewing tradition of his native Alsace, but seeking a Mediterranean touch, which today is its defining characteristic. TV3 broadcast the New Year's Eve chimes, and the presenters toasted with beer, which, naturally, has caused the industry to foam at the mouth, and not from hops. There are few occasions when it's clear that cava should be present, and New Year's Eve is one of them.

That doesn't seem to have been the case. Since the publication of Tell me, crazy. In 2023, De Gràcia continued working on the podcast We keep our word. from Catalunya Ràdio, and with Júlia Otero on Onda Cero. In his book, and also in the conversation, the body, the head and drink appear, as a habit, as a learning process and as a limit.

Some time ago he set himself the goal of recovering part of the family's hundred-year-old olive trees that had been abandoned and are located in the Barcedana valley, in the Pallars Jussà region. He did it with the help of the Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (IRTA) (Agri-food Research and Technology Institute). Three years ago, it produced its first oil: Erm Oli d'Oliva de Muntanya (Erm Mountain Olive Oil). It was a success and this encouraged him to go one step further, delve into the sector and try to unite two of his passions, olives and beers, to produce the first drink of its kind in the world. "The native varieties of olives from Pallars Jussà are still largely unknown, but they have a high and rich organoleptic value", explains Caelles, who is also an agricultural engineer.
