The deceased was accompanied by a man, both 30 years old, who died the day after the accident at Vall d'Hebron Hospital. The Montserrat Mountain Patronage has preemptively closed five climbing routes in the Columpi sector after the fatal accident, as there is an accumulation of stones in the area with a high risk of falling.

Because Cruyff changed world football, but he performed the miracle in Catalonia. The two times Barça signed him, Agustí Montal as a player in 1973 and Josep Lluís Núñez as coach in 1988, he brought about (and may Espriu forgive me) a glimmer of light in the darkness.

The incident reportedly occurred in a hotel room in Vila-seca, according to sources consulted by ARA. The investigation is in its initial stages, but officers have already ruled out the possibility that the individuals involved were tourists and that there were any conflicts linked to organized crime. They describe it as a fight that turned violent. According to the Catalan police, the incident occurred last night, and officers arrested the main suspect in the death around 4:30 a.m. The detainee reportedly traveled from Vila-seca to the city of Tarragona during that time. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Camp de Tarragona Police Region has opened an investigation to clarify the facts. For the moment, the case is under seal. Everything indicates that the victim and the detainee knew each other, although authorities have ruled out a romantic relationship.

Her heart wasn't beating, and Gomis began performing CPR until the patient regained a pulse. It was the first time he had ever performed this procedure. "Physically it's tiring, but the emotion drives you," he said of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). After the woman regained a pulse, the doctor was left with a question: "What will become of this person? What happened to her brain?" He visited her that same afternoon. The woman was fine and could speak, contrary to his initial fears, although she didn't remember the doctor's face at all. In fact, the woman lived for several more years. "For those around her, it was a miracle, but only because the prevailing concept of death was that one doesn't breathe and the heart doesn't beat. Today we know that's not the case."

It was widespread throughout the continent and is rarely seen as a stage performance today; but historically it has been very present in the graphic and pictorial arts. The best examples are found, or were found—and drawings of which have been preserved—in Basel, Dresden, and the cloister of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Holbein made a whole series of engravings of enormous quality, and they are still being published. Apart from this, Florence Whitney is the author of a frankly intractable work, from around 1910, called The Danse of Death in Spain and Cataloniaof particular interest to us.

Before breathing his last, like most of his contemporaries, he had detailed in his will everything that was to be done afterward. Although they are still awaiting the autopsy report, sources close to the investigation indicate that the leading hypothesis right now is that the former councilor drowned his brother and then committed suicide. Meanwhile, the High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) reported that the case was opened for two unnatural deaths.

Any idea I throw around when I say "Moroccan" will clash with the person he was: open, versatile, wise, and, in many ways, exceptional. In fact, I've always been amused to see the relief it evokes in the interlocutor when I add that he was also Canadian and Spanish. This isn't the place to talk about prejudices, nor is it the space to deliver a eulogy. I'd simply like to note how experiencing the mourning of an unexpected death in dramatic circumstances on both sides of the Mediterranean (Casablanca and Barcelona) has allowed me to see how helpless and without resources we are when it comes to facing death in this hyper-technological and individualistic society in which we find ourselves.

Even if the situation is disturbing or uncomfortable, children and adolescents need to find answers to their concerns about death. In the family, it's time for conversation: to bring out the beliefs we hold and to talk about it in a balanced and open way. Has grandparent gone to heaven? Or does life just end? What we do and say will largely determine how children—and, in turn, we—go through this grieving process. Will seeing the lifeless body help them realize that grandparent will never be there again? These and other questions about how children and young people experience death are answered by Marta Butjosa, educator and therapist.
