In fact, the Spanish police are now practically only investigating one of the hypotheses: a track breakage would have caused a derailment of an Iryo train traveling towards Madrid, which collided with an Alvia train that was moving in the opposite direction at that time.

Charlier, represented by Plataforma per la Llengua (Platform for the Language), is seeking a six-year and two-month prison sentence for hate crimes, coercion, and falsification of official documents. He has also asked the court to disqualify the two officers from public office for almost seven years, fine them €4,800, and award him €3,122 in damages. The prosecution, however, sees no crime in the officers' actions, who are represented by the State Attorney's Office. Charlier stated during the trial that the officers' actions made him feel "humiliated, offended, and wounded" in his dignity as a citizen.

"It's very good, very warm," he explains. Questioned about the fact that 15 euros is a very low price for a Norway brand sweater—the one with the Norwegian flag logo—the clerk replies that it's not exactly the Norway brand from Norway, but rather another brand from Italy—a European country considered one of the epicenters of clothing counterfeiting, with the city of Prato as a prime example. When asked if payment could be made by card, the employee asks if cash would be accepted. Once paid, the exit of the store leads you to the entrance of another business, also selling clothing. In fact, it would resemble a shopping center if we weren't in the middle of an industrial park in the Sant Roc neighborhood of Badalona. Amidst the constant flow of trucks, rows of massive wholesale clothing stores are visible, about twenty in just over 300 meters.

But they were dangerous toys: the Pikachu doll, for example, broke easily into very small pieces that children could swallow. All these boxes were discovered in several storage units in Badalona. There were many toys, up to 214,000, and the Civil Guard is investigating six people for smuggling products dangerous to children's health. In a statement, the Spanish police made it clear that the toys could cause "blockages, cuts, or injuries" and did not meet any safety standards. In total, the seized merchandise is valued at two million euros, and the boxes were ready to be shipped to the final seller. Behind these storage units were two separate criminal groups that were dismantled in two separate operations. On December 4, 2025, five storage units were searched, and 58,650 toys and 3,621 textile products were seized. A month later, on January 2, another five storage units were searched, where 151,730 allegedly counterfeit items were confiscated. The investigation began by following the trail of several counterfeit products that arrived in Catalonia, which led investigators to the storage units in Badalona.

The arrests were made on the orders of the National Court as part of an open case related to the awarding of public contracts and are under seal. The investigation was initiated by Investigating Court Number 6, headed by Judge Antonio Piña, and is overseen by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, according to sources close to the investigation who spoke to EFE. This is a different judge than the one investigating the Koldo case. The first reaction from the PSOE came from the halls of Congress. Party spokesperson Montse Mínguez simply reiterated that Leire Díez "is not a member" of the party and expressed "absolute" respect for the investigation being conducted by the Civil Guard and the National Court. "It's time for justice," she concluded. In fact, after her name became known and her audio recordings of maneuvering against the Civil Guard were leaked, Ferraz distanced itself from her actions and suspended her party membership. Furthermore, from the outset, Díez—who was also a Socialist councilwoman in Cantabria—denied acting on behalf of the PSOE and claimed that I was working on a journalistic investigation Regarding irregular police practices.

While the former Secretary of Organization of the PSOE has been in Soto del Real prison for almost five months, a new report from the Central Operational Unit (UCO) places him as a "liaison" between the Ministry of Transport and Acciona, the construction company allegedly involved in irregular public works contracts. In return, he or his associates received "personal profit" from Servinabar, the company linked to Santos Cerdán (according to the UCO). bought 45%, a version whose defense denies), which had a close economic link with Acciona. The Civil Guard report, to which ARA has had access, was the trigger for the records from last week at different Acciona and other locations indictment of three executives Those linked to the company have been summoned to testify on December 3rd.

A few meters away, three or four men of North African origin wait patiently, leaning against the wall. They come and go, chat amongst themselves, sit down to smoke, and exchange a few words with the ONCE lottery vendor. On the nearest corner, the scene repeats itself. Until a Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) car parks in front and the group disperses. These individuals, who spend their days positioned at various strategic points along Carrer Major, are the ones who distribute drugs to French customers who cross the border to obtain cheaper cocaine or hashish.

Those arrested are her parents and the buyers: the 20-year-old man she married and her parents, all three residents of Mollerussa (Pla d'Urgell). The girl disappeared in January in the town of Corella, Navarre, and after the forced marriage, she was forced to beg to provide money for the family who bought her. The Civil Guard began investigating the case following a report to Navarrese social services alerting them that the parents of a Romanian family might have sold their teenage daughter into marriage. The Civil Guard's Women and Minors Unit identified the girl's parents, a 35-year-old man and woman. The Civil Guard also located the minor in Catalonia and began coordinating with the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police), the Civil Guard explained in a statement this Saturday. On Friday, October 3, the Mossos d'Esquadra received a report that a girl was begging outside a supermarket in Les Borges Blanques (Les Garrigues). Initially, the Mossos took the minor to the police station to identify her, as she was not carrying any documents, and they also confirmed that she was not enrolled in school. Sources within the force explained to ARA that the officers investigated whether the girl was begging on someone's orders. When they asked if there was an adult who could take responsibility for her, a couple arrived at the police station who introduced themselves as her aunt and uncle. However, they turned out to be her in-laws, aged 40 and 42, who had paid for her to marry their 20-year-old son.

But it is also the name given to one of the oldest scams, and there are several theories that explain it. The Nazarene scam consists of a fake businessman who goes to a company and places orders for a product that is already on the market. Although he never pays for the order, he does end up selling the merchandise. Some theories say that, since the scamming company later receives a procession of creditors, the name Nazareno was ultimately chosen. Others argue that, since the scam occurs in stages (like those during Holy Week), the name ultimately comes from here. Be that as it may, it remains a common scam, as demonstrated by a recent case: an Alicante cooperative dedicated to fruit production lost half a million euros in loquats.
