The announcement that the right to leave the municipality to attend political campaign acts for the for the elections has outraged the cultural sector. Both the entities that represent the actors and sectorial entities of the music industry have denounced that lockdown can be broken to maintain the right to political participation but, on the other hand, the right to access to culture, which was declared an essential good in September, has been cut. The Professional Actors and Directors Association of Catalonia (Associació d'Actors i Directors Professionals de Catalunya) has issued a statement in which they say that "Culture has been asked to "reinvent itself" to overcome the crisis of covid-19. We ask political groups to do the same for their campaign rallies".
