The Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius hosted the awards ceremony for the Núvol 2025 Awards on Thursday evening, the annual awards from the culture digital, which since 2017 have recognized works and artists under forty years of age who stand out in the fields of literature, art, jazz, classical and popular music, performing and audiovisual arts, illustration, language, and humor. Ten categories corresponding to the ten original sections of Núvol, a project started in 2012, created and directed by Bernat Puigtobella.

From June 14 to 17, the fourth edition of the international cinema and artificial intelligence festival +RAIN Film Festival will be held, an event promoted by Pompeu Fabra University that renews the debate on the impact of AI in cinema, audiovisual, and digital culture. As explained at the presentation by the festival director and professor of communication theories and quantitative research methods Frederic Guerrero, in the first editions, the discussion revolved around art and cinema created with artificial intelligence, while, for now, the thematic focus has shifted towards the social impact of AI in different aspects, such as accessibility, sustainability, and ethical implications.

This year's edition of FIRE!! will take place from June 4th to 14th, with its main venue at the Institut français de Barcelona. The quintessential LGBTIQ+ film event in the Catalan capital is no longer a showcase and is now recognized as a festival: the economic endowment of two thousand euros foreseen by the new Ventura Pons award for best feature film is the element that elevates the status of FIRE!!, an initiative launched in 1995 by Casal Lambda of Barcelona. “The percentage of LGBTIQ+ films worldwide is still lower than the ratio of non-strictly heterosexual people,” assured the festival director, Antoine Leonetti, at the presentation of the 31st edition to the media.
